Want to move to Raleigh, NC?
I'm planning on moving from NY to Raleigh, NC in the very near future. I was looking into the Mayfaire apartment complex and I was wondering if anyone had any knowlege of the apartments or the area that they are located in. I've already researched them on apartment ratings.com but I wanted to see if I could get any more opinions. Thanks!

- I do not have an answer for your question. However, I worked and stayed in the Raleigh Durham Apex area for a month more than 20 years ago. I can tell you I enjoyed the area very much, but it is not New York. People talk a little differently, and are very hospitable. Enjoy your time in the area.
- I work in the general area of Mayfaire. It is North Raleigh, and there are good things and bad things about living in North Raleigh. But the area is generally nice - mostly wooded subdivisions and apartment complexes and mixed use (small office and retail). It is clean and safe. Traffic can be difficult, but if you're living anywhere near the city in NY, it will seem light to you. The apartment complex is clean and new. You probably don't want to live there if you are working in South Raleigh, or east of town. But it is fairly close to 540, offering good access to RTP and areas west.
