6. The very real possibility that this woman can be thrust upon the presidency at any moment during McCain's administration is perhaps the scariest thing I can imagine. Keep in mind that John McCain is a 72 year old former POW with untreated PTSD in addition to the countless diseases he has been afflicted with. Add to that the law which says that if the president is otherwise and unavoidably occupied during a national crisis, the vice president is to take over for the time being. I can just imagine the numerous scenarios which could put our fates in the hands of a woman who would carry on a phone conversation with someone claiming to be the president of France. Is she kidding? Is Sarah Palin some kind of prank being played on the American people? Don't forget that John McCain has now announced that in addition to seeking the advice of this intolerable bumbling idiot, he will also rely on Joe the Non-Plumber's advice on how to best serve the mainstream American. It makes me wonder exactly what John McCain thinks of when he thinks of "regular people". Maybe he thinks that all "regular" people are stupid?
