How can I find a list of companies that have recently filed for bankruptcy?

Ideally I would particularly like to get sent an alert when companies matching certain criteria/names file for bankruptcy. Is there a list of companies that have gobe bankrupt or an alert service (that can be freely or cheaply accessed)? Looking for a comprehensive nation-wide or even international list, if available. Ideally accessible online.

1. There is no service for this. The only way I can think of getting this info is to search the "announcement" section of newspaper web sites because all companies that are going into bankruptcy have to post a notice stating so. The other way would be to access local government clerk of courts sites and do a search for them that way, but you would have to search by each county in each state.
