Can you qualify for section 8 housing with evictions?

My family has had some very difficult times and unfortunately we have had two evictions. I work full time but somehow seem to make too much money to get help from D.S.H.S. and find myself in these terrible situations. Now that i have two evictions i have a hard time finding housing that is affordable. So that brings me to my question... Can you qualify for section 8 housing with evictions?

1. you need to qualify for Section 8 ...AND it has nothing to do with evictions ... if you make below a certain amount you can get it ... but there is a waiting list
