How could i find out what career i want to be in?

If i havent been out there to try different things? I think i like to be a vet but im scared of big dogs. i thought about RN but im scared of given shots. People find out what they like by going places and exploring...but i dont really have a car to be cruising around and volunteering or joining clubs. Much less have money to pay for a bus for a round trip EVERY DAY. what would you suggest?
