Is it rude to request a song to a profession deejay at a school dance?

Public Comments

  1. No, why would it be? Isn't that part of the whole thing? I'm sure you'd be fine.
  2. No it's not, can you suggest Jizzed in my pants for me?
  3. I don't think so. All you can do is request a song and if the dj declines that's their choice but I see absolutely no harm in asking to be honest.
  4. I don't think so if you just ask nicely there shouldn't be a problem. If a deejay said that he was just ticked off that someone bothered him and said that just to have a reason instead of coming right out and saying "Hey, I don't want to be bothered with any requests" I would just blow it off if I were you.
  5. Not at all. Most DJs are happy to play what people request if the songs will be popular with the crowd. It's not rude to make a request, but don't be too disappointed if the DJ decides not to play it. DJs are more concerned with playing the right music to set the tone of the night than with taking requests.
  6. no it not like the music is for them its for your dance so its what you want to here
  7. haha no! if he says hes a professional make him live up to his name lol
  8. thats y they are they for requests. have a good time and a good boogay. party on down!!!!!
  9. No it's not rude ... if you ask nicely.. if this song has meaning to you then with a smile .. I am sure you can ask if he could play ''your song''
  10. No...WHY? Its not that because he's a DJ you can't request a song...
  11. ~NO way! that is what the dejay is for!~
  12. No that's why they are there. Go for it!
  13. Go right ahead and ask. If the DJ is worth anything, he/she'll welcome your request, because it gives an insight into the crowd.
