Are SoCal brides willing to hire highly experienced and professional disc-jockeys over $1500 for their wedding?

- Absolutely, don't you know the average expenditure for a wedding these days is 15K? That means rich people are looking at 25-30K or more. $1500 is a mere drop in the bucket and for those who are that rich - they want to pay for high quality to match their lifestyle.
- Margarete, my friend who lives in Orange County was quite happy to fork out $1750 for a DJ, but had to cut back on the amount of Dance space to fit his set in.
- i dont know about so cal but im in nyc & i am spending $1650 for my dj. And it has nothing to do with being rich. We have 250 guest who love to dance and be entertained. We are fun people and the thing that i most remember from people's weddings and party is how much i danced and how much fun i have. we pay this amount because the company is highly qualified, experienced, well recommended and insured. and the package includes an Mc and coordinator, party favors, Plasma screen, voice overs, photo montage, smoke/fog, etc. To me its worth the $ if thats an important aspect of your wedding.
- Not too sure about SoCal but I live in the bay area which is just as expensive and DJ's run about $1000 at the cheapest if you want a good DJ. My brother in law is a DJ and he charges about $2000 for 4 or 5 hours.
