graphic design job search?

i need a new career in graphic design and i have looked all over the place. career builder, indeed jobs, monster, yahoo, google, etc. i have a BS in graphic design. any ideas? i live in oklahoma and would prefer to not relocate but it is possible.

1. I'm in the same place. You can't stop until you find a job. Always keep your eyes open, keep making connections. In todays economy, it's a bit difficult to find a graphic design job, but that doesn't mean it's impossible. Do you have an online portfolio? Do you have a self promotional package, including a cd presentation? Do you have your own business card? Google "ad agencys [insert your city]" Go to all these places just to introduce yourself and meet the art director if possible. Leave your card, and a self promotional package. NEVER say no to a freelance job, you must make time for these. The more work you get out there, the better your portfolio looks. Good luck!
