How long to evict a termed employee when housing is part of the salary?
As an employer, we provide housing and utilities as part of our employee's salary. If this employee is terminated, how long are they allowed to stay in the house before eviction? (Texas) This is also considered agricultural work.

- It depends. In particular, it depends on the rental agreement between the employee and the landlord, and possibly the employment agreement between you and the employee. It's not clear to me whether as the employer you are also the landlord. But that's not important at this point. As a practical matter, you're just missing too many facts here to provide you with any substantive answer. If this is a real issue for you, I strongly suggest you speak to your attorney, instead of relying on the advice of strangers.
