Most of the jobs posted online are fake?

I am applying since several years online, I apply for at least 18 jobs a day, and never get a call!! I even tried to submit a fake resume with 2 college degrees, but still no answers!! Can somebody start to sue careerbuilder and other internet job boards? Do they post fake jobs to make money so that people do visit their websites?

  1. Most of them are not fake...they just get a lot of resumes so it's hard to get lucky . But there are some that are scams.
  2. I agree with you you right after i graduated i put in 40 applications exactly in a day and no call back. Its been 7 months and her i am no job and ready to start college. I put applications in every where i have no where else to put in applications so im really out of luck. Oh and that survey s h i t is bs also. The best thing to do right now is just go back to school.Thats what im doing.
  3. "If a company requires initial payment from you in order to work for them, they are not legitimate." There are a few legitimate data entry companies but are not hiring and have large waiting lists (1-2yrs). The majority of data entry jobs you seen online are scams. A real company will want you to have skills inc fast typing, may want you to know MS Excel, and will usually ask that you have high speed internet. Once in a long while you may found one online on a job website but thats rare. If you do an advanced search on yahoo, you will find previous answers, sometimes the info on these is good as the info they gave is likely to have been verified if the answer was voted as 'Best'.
