What's the best way to find a good job? Going on Careerbuilder, etc, isn't helpful.?

I need a clerical job. I don't have any office experience. I only have customer service experience for 7 years. They changed my hours indefinitely to 2 days a week for the rest of the year. And won't change them. I only make 8.45 an hour. Help please!
