Is "HotJobs" a legitimate website that will help people to find employment?

I am unemployed right now and can't find a job anywhere. Either no jobs are hiring right now or i don't have the experience that they are looking. I am trying to find out is hot jobs a real job website that will help me to find employment.

1. Its better applying at a companies website.Hot Jobs and other sites advertise anything.I got tricked once so its better to apply in person in offices near you.Just ask a company is they are hirering near you..
2. i would recommend applying at the actual job website, or going to the job site itself and handing in a written app or a resume. thats what we always suggest to potential employee candidates
