He is known as one of the top young producers in the electro/techno genre. When he was six he learned to play the piano. Between seven and fourteen he found a love for the drums. Soon he began to buy records and make music with different programs. At age sixteen he learned engineering from a colleague known now as D.I.M for five years. During that time he produced in a studio with D.I.M. He decided to move to Berlin once he turned 21. He has gone by other names such as Boys Noize, Anthony Rother, A. Rother, and Alex Rother. He has also released EPs under the alias Kid Alex and 909d1sco. Ridha went under the alias of Anthony Rother after seeing a performance by Anthony Rother in Frankfurt. Since then Rother has been a big influence on Ridha’s music style. In 2003 he began making electro tracks as Boys Noize. His first single was signed to International DeeJay Gigolo Records by Helmut Josef Geier. Since his second single that came out on Datapunk Records he has remixed music for artists such as Bloc Party, The Living Things, Marilyn Mandon, Tiga or The Kreeps, and Feist. September, 2007, his debut album “Oi Oi Oi” was released with his own Record Company. After the release, well Known Djs like Erol Alkan, SebastiAn, Tiga, and Justice began playing and remixing his music. His track called “& down” is in the video game Grand Theft Auto IV on the PLR and Electro-choc radio station. It was also a sample for the song American Boy by Estelle. His current label companies are Boysnoize Records and Last Gang Records. He’s been active mainly since 2004. First person, i swear, gets "best answer".
