I noticed that a lot of cars on the chicago craigslist are priced very cheap and many are flagged why is this?

I don't know if these low prices are typical for chicago area or if there are a lot of scams on the site?

2. yes alot of scams, dont buy it unless you actually look at it in person. my husband thought he was getting a truck DELIVERED to our house so he went and bought it. Everything seemed real, even going through ebay to pay for it and confirm it was real and all, we got scammed out of a couple thousand and after reporting it to the police, we found out another person was scammed by the same person. Dont buy it unless you've looked at it in person!!

4. Spammers send out ads to get your e-mail address to sell to other spammers
5. was lucky on that one bought a 1 ton chevy truck from a up north dealer he failed to tell me it had a flagged title i found out when my new title came,I was able to contact the old owner with a little home work here on line and found the truck was totaled out with the front end torn off by him after hitting a deer.I was able to find out that the truck was put back with only body damage and 40.000 miles later i still love my truck.
