Hi everyone! Can you help me find a word? (i'm not a native speaker)?
How do you call the page of a newpaper on which you find "job advertisments" (either in Brittish English or American English)? I mean the general topic like "classifieds" but i think classified is for advertising stuff you want to buy or sell? can you help me? thank in advance!

- job seeker
- Job Pages
- Situations Vacant.
- It's 'Job Pages' or 'Job Opportunities' in our two local papers.
- It is perhaps a little old-fashioned now but "situations vacant" could be the phrase you're looking for.
- Could be under Help Wanted.
- I would say 'sits vac', which is short for 'situations vacant'. Is that what you need?
- Help wanted is what you are looking for.
- It will be under classified, then sub-headed ' Employment Oppertunities'. At least it is in my local paper
- You will find it in the classified section because it is a solicitation " Job Seeking". Just like for sale, for rent, for hire, wanted for hire etc.... Classified is the section you are looking for.
- In the classifieds under Help Wanted
- Here it is amongst the classifed I am suppose it is advertising job opportunities - but it does say job seeking.
- Perhaps you are thinking of the "employment" section of the classified ads.
- RECRUITMENT I am so surprised at the fumbling contributions from England and America.
- "want-ads" or "jobs wanted"
