Are there any reputable apartment locators who focus on clientele with bad credit or no credit?
I'm interested in metro US cities.

- none; it would not make much sense to them. YOU can still find apts if you start with the yucky ones and when your credit is over 700, you can move into your own rented house or buy!
- There aren't any apartment locater's that specialize in bad credit...SO it is just hit and miss when you are trying to find a place to live..So just use the reg apt finders and start the process of elimination.. I've had friends who were in your situation and they found places..There will be a property that will work with your situation, you just have to weed out all of the ones that wont. Also if you have bad credit some places will just ask for like a bank statement or something to show that they will get paid, because that all any complex is worried about.
- No. I don't mean to sound harsh, but why would anyone specialize in providing services to or renting to 'bad risks'? More importantly, would you want to live in a place that was more willing to rent to tenants with bad credit? Also, 'no credit' is much different than 'bad credit'. Not having a credit history merely means you're careful and/or inexperienced. Rental references and income verification are often more important than credit in rentals. Concentrate on private and small landlords who may have more flexibility in their rental criteria and may be less competent about running credit reports.
