What can I do if I've been Scammed on CRAIGSLIST?
Hi, Im from Los Angeles, CA... Recently I did a craigslist "trade" with a guy from Canada... I sent him my XBOX 360 Console for his 8GB iphone... I Sent the console and it has been 20 days and I have not received the iPhone nor is he answering my emails... Can I file charges or anything or am I basically screwed since it is a cross-border thing??? Please help ppl

- u can try http://www.craigslist.org/about/scams.ht... but i think ur screwed. i am trying to sell something on craig list but i am trying to sell it locally where i am goint to meet the person and get the money b4 i give the person my game system. i wouldnt suggest selling or trading any thing to any one unless they give u their part first. hope this helps
- Sorry, but the police rarely even get involved in scams like this on eBay when both parties are inside the US borders and there's proof of a transaction. Trust no one, especially outside the borders of our laws. Get the money first. Pay with your credit card so you can file a chargeback if need be. Never use Western Union to deal with strangers.
