How do you sell items on Craigslist or ebay?

I know that you just follow the steps and people can purchase it. What I'm curious about is whn someone wants it, what happends next. How do you get the item from your house to theirs. Does ebay/Craigslist come to your house and ship it for free. I'm a little confused. Thanks in advance!

1. No one comes to you house, you package up the item and take it to the post office, pack and ship place, ups or fed ex. and ship it to the buyer.
2. You are provided with your buyers address. You package the item and then take it to the post office and send it to them.
3. On ebay, if somebody wants your item then they make a bid. If they win then you send them a request for payment immediately after the auction is over. You must make sure you recieve payment before you ship the item. The item has to be packaged and sipped by you. On craigslist you communicate with the buyer through the phone or via email. They send you their shipping address or or they go to your house and pick it up or you go to theirs and give it to them (if you live nearby).
