What are some high paying jobs that don't require a college degree?
Looking into getting a new full time job. I obviously want to make more money than I'm making now. Looking to make $35,000 and up. Any jobs that don't require a college degree? I know they are out there.

- I know some executive assistant and administrative assistants in the financial sector that make well above that. Depends on where you are though, my location has a high cost of living.
- they're hard to find. and it would take years to get promoted to get to that level. but janitors actually make a lot
- If you want to make more money, you either need a degree or you need experience, and gaining enough experience to translate it into a lot of money will probably take you longer than earning a degree. Just keep one thing in mind: sometimes who you know matters a lot more than what you know.
- Become an officer at a local level. You need to be 21, pass a written test, and a psychological exam, and a physical one.
- Sales. Like new cars, or advertising at radio or TV stations. Not stuff like shoes or appliances at Sears.
- I've heard of UPS delivery guys that make $50k. Postal workers make around $45k. You could also do well going to a vocational tech school.
- Hi salaries come from having high skill levels . ( which you do NOT get from high school ) If you are not college bound , the other alternative is to get into an apprenticeship position with one of the better unions . The skill level comes from 4 years of course work accompanied by on the job training . The electricians , carpenters , plumbers and heavy equipment operators all make decent wages (better than $35K) once they make journeyman . >
- my neighbor makes a good amount working for the town's DPW, maybe you could do that
