How Legit are the job postings on Craigslist?
Has anyone ever had success in finding a job on craigslist? I have been desperately seeking a job, and I decided to look on that site. But so far, it seems like most of the posts I have responded to have merely been some attempt to get my soc., or my credit card number. Is searching for a job on craigslist a good idea?

- some are legit, some arent.. check my blog for some good jobs you can do for extra money
- A lot of them are baloney, as are a lot of other things on craigslist.
- Well - its what you can expect for a free posting: A lot of nonsense, but since it is free a lot of people posting for a job will figure ' hey its free, maybe I will post it up here too". I know my non-profit organization posts jobs on there and my friend found a job taking lecture notes for hard of hearing students at a Community College - it paid $30/hour!! on craigslist too. Restaurant jobs would be legit too most likely. You can tell if its legitimate if they provide enough details about the job. Like if they keep the location mysterious or ask for money - you can assume its sketchy. Try and google whoever is posting the job or go and see the place in person before you commit to anything.
- First of all, Posting Jobs in CraigsList is Not Free. It cost $25. I think most of them are legit, but there are fakes who tries to get your info. so we have to be careful. I think recently many people are looking for job so it's hard to get reponse. It's hard to get job anywhere, not just craigslist.
