help with career choices please!?

what i really want is to become a hairstylist and/or makeup artist. i also was thinking of pastry chef b/c i love baking, photographer but they dont get paid that much, and interior design b/c i think i have a nack for it. maybe getting into web design and designing myspace graphics on the side. what kind of training should i get for each? what are some good colleges or schools? specifically in PA, NY and NJ and online programs too if there are any good ones out there. (links to request free info?) how can i put together a great portfolio?
