Would Obama supporters who live in nice, middle class neighborhoods welcome Section 8 Housing in their area?
Knowing that Section 8 Housing typically lowers the value of homes in surrounding neighborhoods?

- As far Im concern he will not be my president! he wasn't born here, he was born in Kenia, there is proof of it. www.obamacrimes.com
- Yep. Thanks for the 2.
- "Not in my neighborhood" would be their response
- HELL NO, and i know it's not going to happen.
- Are you trying to see if Obama supporters are as bigoted as conservatives? I can't really answer the question myself. Although I'm an Obama supporter, I don't live in a nice, middle class neighborhood. I live in an economy apartment complex.
- yes they would, have you not noticed the areas that use to be nice look like dung
- Well seeing that I am upside down in my mortgage. I am half way through my nest egg and have been unemployed since July. There are no jobs available unless you are a nurse. I may need Section 8 housing pretty soon. As will all of us. So yes I am o.k. with it.
- Are you kidding? I live in a very liberal, upper class neighborhood. My husband and I are among very few conservatives around here. The majority of (liberal) people in my neck of the woods would rather come down with leprosy than allow Section 8 housing. They don't even want public transportation out here because it might bring in a bad element from the city.
- The latte liberals won't like it one bit - they haven't experienced actual interaction with the bottom feeders who exploit our social welfare system. The other supporters already live there, lol.
- I live in an older neighborhood with large lawns. It is heavily populated, and there is really no room for anymore building. If there were room I would not support section 8, because that type of housing would devalue my main asset, my home. BTW I have worked for 50 years to obtain this home. I did not have section 8, I had to pay normal rent and raise 2 children without special aids like section 8. Hard work, and determination. Ten per-cent inspiration, and 90 per cent perspiration. That is what brings in the bacon, - every time.
- They better get used to it. They're going to have to help spread the wealth as well.
