How do you learn to become a disc jockey?

I have no experience in mixing, spinning, or disc jockeying, but I have a lot of experience in music. I am into music like Daft Punk, Justice, Digitalism, Chemical Brothers, etc. What is the best way to start mixing? What should I buy or do to start learning how to mix? What kind of equipment is necessary?

2. Send a letter into MTV's shoe Made. They pay for everything and litterally do not let you give up. Ha ha. But if you aren't into all that TV biz, then you should start out on I-tunes with a WHOLE lota money! start buying music under those catigories. Stock up your Ipod that holds 50 million bagillion songs and find a nice big boom box you can hook it into. then send out flyers. hang them up at stores, put them in mail boxes, etc. There are sites that can give you all the details. but just start advertising for birthday parties and stuff like that. you will earn money to buy equipitment and more music and boda bing boda bam boda boom. good luck my friend. <3 alice =]
