Non-Licensing Massage Therapy Class?

Hi all! I would like to take a massage therapy class but I do not want to be licensed. This is simply a surprise for my husband for when he gets home from deployment. He has a bad back and always asks for a back rub/massage before bed and I feel like i'm terrible at it. I would like to take some sort of local class (I live in San Diego but frequently visit Temecula and Orange County to see family). I've tried searching google and yahoo answers and craigslist for just a simple class that anyone would be offering, but cannot find one anywhere. I am NOT looking to take a 6 month course. Can anyone help or give any advice? Thanks in advance! Katy

1. There are usually good classes at any local yoga studio. You should especially be able to find one in San Diego that will offer massage classes, just call around.
