Are good grades required to get into Western Career College?

I tried to do research online, and even tried contacting the school but they didn't exactly answer me. I'm currently enrolled in a local community college and I'm majoring to become a dental hygienist. my biggest concern is that my grades weren't too good back when I was in high school... would this affect my admission?

  1. It depends on the school.
  2. Probably not, this sounds like a pretty crappy school.
  3. Doubt it. Grades in high school usually have no bearing on a college once you've attended another college...in your case, a local community college. However, they will request a copy of your high school transcripts, but if your grades now are excellent, they wont consider them. Admission is half grades and half extracurriculars. Volunteer to make your admission that much better.
  4. Western Career College has very high standards: 1. You have to have a pulse. 2. You have to have (or be able to get) the money. Too bad. They'd be doing you a big favor if they didn't admit you.
