I sell a product on craigslist. How do I stop someone from posting negative comments about me or my product?

I fix up cars (properly) and re sell them. Someone threatened to post negative comments "forever" on craigslist because I won't come and fix her car! It ran just fine, and was sold as is. I even offered to put the part in if she paid for it from the parts store.

1. You can't. Stopping her from posting would be 'prior restraint', which isn't allowed. What you CAN do is sue her for defamation every time she makes a defamatory posting. Richard
2. Well, from what I understand, craigslist is for posting adds, she needs to post in the rants section other wise you can flag her comment.
3. 1st Amendment. She has the write to say whatever she wants.
