whats the crags list policy?
I need some advice. I had sold a xbox360 and2 days later, the guy emails me saying he isn't happy with it and wants his money back. Isn't craigslist like an online yard sale? I wouldn't think to go to my neighbor's yard sale, buy something, then ask for my money back a week later. If you wanted a return policy, shouldn't you go to Walmart??? What should I do?

- it is just a place to connect a seller w a buyer there is no such policy the deal is done unless you want to exchange it back
- Tell him he don't like it and has buyers remorse he should sell it on Craigslist it's not your problem.
- Unless you specifically stated "money back guarantee" of some sort, you have no obligation. He has no recourse. Its a chance you take with buying on Craigslist. It's not the same as EBay. With Craigslist there is no buyer protection. He should have thought of that when he asked you to buy it it from you, that you would be willing to take it back if he "didn't like it" which is a completely lame reason. You're not Walmart. You have to do nothing at all. Tell him sorry, all sales final. Next time he should buy in a retail store where there is a printed legal policy. Besides all of this, who knows what he may have done to it during the two days it was outside of your control, perhaps he broke it somehow. Sure, you want that back LOL ... Don't worry, you're fine :)
