When can I start applying for housing at UCSB?

Can I start sending in a housing application now? Or is there a starting date?

1. If you are planning on attending the 09-10 year, the starting date was September 1, 2008. If I were you, I would go ahead and send it in! Housing usually fills up quickly... If you really aren't sure, just give them a call at (805) 893-8000, and someone will help you out. Hope this helps!
2. I'm assuming that you mean the 2010-2011 school year? If so, you must turn in your Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) before you can apply for housing. You can begin to apply for housing (after you turn in your SIR) beginning Apr. 1 - Jun. 1. I suggest you do it quickly if you are 100% sure you want to attend UCSB since there's only room for 4,700.
