Does anyone know how I can check my number for section 8 Housing?

Last spring I applied, accepted, & recieved a section 8 number. I've checked online & found nothing, & your'e not supposed to call. I would like to check how long or soon I will be notified.

1. Why are you not suppose to call? That sounds silly. I would call my case worker ASAP.
2. The line is not linear, so no one can really tell you for sure. Your worker can tell you if you are near the top (6 months or so), in the middle ( 2 years) or a low priority (6 years).
