What happens if you are registered on the do not call list but you still get telemarketing calls?

my marketing teacher told us to tell the company that what they are doing is illegal... but i dont think that really changes much what kind of trouble can these companies get it. i registered my home numbr properly... im sure of it about a month ago... i clicked on the email they sent me there is still no change and i am SICK of calls. even on the weekends its bad

1. It takes a few months for the calls to stop. There are always companies doing it illegally, too. If you get a recorded message about your credit card or your warranty, hang up. These are phishing calls, not telemarketing. They want you to give them your credit card info so they can rip you off.
