Can you get your Apartment Rent Lowered when your lease is up if their new prices are cheaper?

We live in an Archstone Apartment Complex and we are paying 1360 a month, for a year lease that we signed last june. Online they have their prices for the same apartment listed as 1195 a month for the same apartments... is there a way, or has anyone ever been able to negotiate to get the price lowered ?? I do not intend to play "games" with them, I have just heard in the past that apartments let you negotiate your rent some times.

1. You have to be prepared to move if you want to have good negotiating position. But if you go in asking to rent one of the lower priced units and give up your current unit, they may just accept to lower your rent. They may insist on moving you to the lower priced unit.
2. Archway is a huge corp. They do not play games, they will not really care if you wish to leave. You will not rent from them again if you try to engage them in games, you will need to find a new apartment.
