Software for Disc Jockeys - Mixing Music?
Five years ago I used Sound Forge and Acid software. What is the current most popular software for intermediate to advanced users?

- n.i. traktor is probably the best
- Audacity - audio editer http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
- So much choice... Check Ableton, the session view is a great launchpad for doing DJ mixing. http://ableton.com More traditional decks type of thing: http://www.deckadance.com In case you like that one, here's a link for 10% discount: https://support.image-line.com/jshop/shop.php?offer=Default&promo=BACJBAA468 Native Instruments has just announced some new Traktor versions: http://www.native-instruments.com/newreleases/#/en/products/dj/
- I like Traktor, but I have also used PCDJ which works good. I know a lot of people use Serato. It depends on if you are going PC only or are integrating with a set of DJ geat. If you have a good laptop and sound card you can get away with Traktor and a nice controller.
