How to list a home for sale on the Internet?

I would like to list a property for sale online, but cannot find a site or instructions on how to do this. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

1. Craigslist. They are pretty simple and have easy to understand directions. If you are talking about listing on sites like realtor.com, you need to have an MLS number through a real estate agent.

3. Hire a professional realtor. If you don't know how to list your home for sale on the internet HOW IN THE WORLD are you going to handle the legal paper work, negotiations, title company, survey, mortgage, closing and the other 188 steps in a real estate transaction by yourself.
4. I've heard of Craigslist.com as a good place to sell things. I've never heard of selling a home on the internet, but please check it out.
