- Craigslist is quite trustworthy assuming you are doing a local pickup. if you are looking to do paypal or money order, go to ebay. as for the deal, I'm not sure about 200 dollars for that 35mm. thats a little much.
- You can find good used Nikon and Canon 35 mm SLR's for under $150 with a standard zoom lens ... as your camera system grows, you will see that buying a Nikon or Canon will give you more options. If you like the Pentax, offer $125 and make sure it is in good working order ... by a cheap roll of 35 mm film and run the who roll through it and make sure the film advance is smooth and that there are no smudges or scratches on the lens ... if the seller has a UV filter on the lens, the chances are, the seller has taken good care of the camera. craigslist is the best because you can actually hold it and test it before you hand over your money
- Tough to say... Craigslist isn't like E-bay where you can see the person's sales history... what you need to do is check out the camera in person, then determine if it's worth buying.
