What do you major in college if you want to be a disc jockey, and if you decide to not internship is it hard t?

If you decide not to internship is it very difficult to get a job straight out of college doing it.. if so what job do you start out doing if you want to be a disc jockey

1. Most likely journalism and electronic media.... some colleges have ones they call broadcasting. And you definitely want to intern somewhere if you can, because they really don't want to hire someone who they don't know much about on the air. When you get behind the mic, it's different for some people. I can tell you this much, everyone always has more enthusiasm in their voice on the microphone than they have in real life when you're listening to the radio.
