My Fiance and I aren't making enough money to afford our apartment rent should we go on welfare?

She lives in a group home and she is getting out in a few months becuase she cant stay there longer. SHe has no place to go and we can't afford an apartment together. If she gets on welfare could i be able to live with her legally.

1. since you have no means of support, go to a place like India, where people exist on virtually nothing.
2. Ok so this is the deal, Its very tricky in the system, b.c alot of time they give money for housing for single parents but if they find a boyfriend in the house you can lose all housing, I would talk to the welfare and see if you can both get on, but more likely than not you both make too much, start looking around on the weekend and look into studios or places you haven't looked b/c if you really do look hard enough you will find a million places that will work for your budget. They may not be the BEST but they will work! Good luck!
