Since I Moved Into My Apartment 11 Days Ago.....?

I have referred two more people to rent in the same place......one moves in Thursday and the other in a few weeks. I will get a "finder's fee" for my efforts of selling this complex like it is heaven on earth.... I am in California and had a conditional license a few years ago but never worked in the field. LONG EXPENSIVE story...anyway...Would I need a Real Estate License to do something like renting apartments for a living? How much could I earn? It's WAY MORE rewarding than what I do now.

  1. You can work for one apartment building only, without a license. They usually pay hourly for leasing agents.
  2. That's great that is happening for you! I would look into what it takes to get that license. Real estate brokers around here who show mainly apartments apparently rake it in! Good luck and Happy Hump Day! :)
  3. Not sure, but my Mom always said follow your heart you'll never get lost
