What is the difference between mating housing and terminal?

I'm looking to buy a switching power supply (AC to DC). The datasheet mentions some molex connectors. What is mating housing and terminal? Thank you.

With a mating housing one expects a matching plug and socket combination that clicks into place and remains firmly fastened until specifically released. At a terminal the wire or wires are held in place by being screwed down.
