Pandemic flu funding was in the stimulus bill until the republicans decided it was "pork." What are you whining about? You only got what you wished for. Historically, swine flu hasn't killed more than a few hundred at a time. But the influenza epidemic of 1918 killed millions across the globe.

it's a lot more than just that: the health care scare ushers in universal public healthcare is the reason that one of the most feared parts of his agenda will pass: the medical records data base an pharm co. that has lobbied successfully will get the contract to make the vaccine, and you will get that vaccine plus whatever the govt wants to slip you to make you even more their tool it is a reason to spend more money--by allocating more toward this crisis, to free up money already allocated that must be used only under a medical national crisis (there's already some money in that pot) it will cause more businesses to nosedive as travel and such are frozen and people don't show up to work more businesses, specifically the airline industry will get in line for the government to hold their stock and keep them a float. yes, all of these plans (not they are planned events and i'm not convinced this flu isn't a part of that plan) put into place will be fulfilled. people can't see what is right in front of them. we the people are being manipulated by this administration
