Jehovah's Witnesses: What is the purpose of the "Do not call List"?

And can it be applied to certain Yahoo accounts? Edit: Jw's, this is suppose to be a thought provoking question. Temel: is it possible for me to aquire a mild temper?

2. Hey, I must be on that list. These JW's came to our house 3 times and we sat and drank iced tea and talked about the bible, then they disappeared. Was it something I said?

7. Which one? I am on my state and the federal do not call list for telemarketers, but there is a list that the congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses use, to indicate which people in our neighborhoods do not want us coming to their houses. In the case of this last list, the elders will call once time a year, to see if the person who requested to be on the list has moved, as frequently happens, or perhaps changed their minds. It happens all the time. My husband used to be on the do not call list. :P I'm glad you are developing a quiet and mild spirit. It will serve you well. You'll be so much happier. I fight my temper all the time. I have had to since I was just little. Sometimes it's harder than others to remain mild, and it might seem like 'they' are getting away with bashing, but even Jesus picked his battles. He knew there was no use in senseless arguments, with senseless people.
8. If people really don't want us to knock on their door then we put them on the do not call list. where I live if we call on a do not call then we can be fined up to $5,000 or get up to 90 days in jail. So, there you go. Don't call on a do not call.
