List Only

How can I get a list of California homeless shelters and transitional housing programs?

I would like it if the list included summaries on the services each location provided.

1. go to your department of social services
2. Do you have a United Way or a Trustee?...they would know.
3. I don't think the state keeps a list, but there are local lists. Ones for San Diego County are on this website, which lists all sorts of services for that county: http://www.informsandiego.org
4. HUD has a list on their web site: California http://www.hud.gov/local/ca/homeless/shelters.cfm CA included on this site that is National: http://www.homeless.org.au/directory/shelters.htm
