How do you do your craigslist transactions?

I am selling a dress on craigslist and was wondering how you paid and gave the item over. I am not comfortable having someone come to my house, is this normal?

1. With craigslist you deal locally. If you can't do that then you can use ebay.
2. You can arrange to meet at a McDonald's or someplace else public. People are not usually offended by this arrangement. And it's safer.
