What are the best real ways to earn money online besides ebay/craigslist?
I need to make close to 500$ in a very short time so I can have an operation. I know how to use ebay and craigslist, but that will only help me so far. I would be happy with any suggestions.

- Sorry, but there are no other legitimate ways. And when the scam survey people answer this questions, please ignore them.

- Hi Teresa, Like anything in life there's good examples and bad examples. I've experienced both with WAH stuff. I would not follow the first answerer's idea that every way to make money online is a scam. Does that sound reasonable? I know it's false, personally... Earlier this year, I was going to miss my rent payment in February and probably get evicted. I was telling Sarah, a friend of mine, about my situation. She told me about a way to earn cash on my PC at home at http://PaymentKey.com. I trust her, but still I needed to see for myself whether paymentKey.com was legit. I figured I had to try it due to the grim reaper bill collector, and the site was free to use, and I still had my PC and Internet connected. I was so happy to get my first check on March. 20! This thing is not a scam-- it is the real deal. I am very skeptical by nature so the first thing I did was check out the company. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and found that the Paymentkey has had no complaints lodged against them. I also contacted PayPal which has "Verified" them. (You can too with the links are right on the www.paymentkey.com homepage.) BBB and PayPal told me that they verified PaymentKey's licenses, bank accounts and other paperwork that the company is legit. Then I started asking friends about this program and to my surprise a few were already using PaymentKey.com! They said good things about it and how much money they had made and are saving with shopping. So I decided to sign up in mid-Feb. I got approved the same day, and the fun began. I filled out 7 ad offers in about 20 minutes. I've transitioned into their Writearn program which is more difficult than just clicking and getting paid, but I've earned over $4000 too. It's real work. PamentKey.com has really helped us pay rent and stay fed! Take care, J
- try some data entry jobs. don't' bother about surveys, or paid to search or paid to click or paid to read type things, they almost never pay up. you will only waste your time doing that.
- People who make money tend to either; - Fill out surveys - Write for Helium - Write for Associated Content - Refer lots of others to different programs - Use eBay. I personally use gamestomoney.com - I make more than I did working in a clothing store full time, but still, it's not going to make me rich. Basically it's easy and fool proof, but how much you make depends on how much time you want to invest each day. It's hard to estimate income from it, but I suppose within a day or two and getting the hang of things it would be around $20 an hour. Goodluck :)

- Hello kate, I want to tell you about a great site I found. They pay me to read e-mail, visit web sites and much more. It's free to join and easy to sign up! CLICK THIS LINK TO VISIT: http://depacco.com/pages/index.php?refid=mamta
- UG! All of the suggestions already given to you are terrible. I know what you mean, I too registered at loads of website and did survey and stuff but almost all turned out to be a scam... the ones that do work (eg. cashcrate) take waaayy too long. BUT, there is one website that in my opinion is the absolute best, you complete offers and surveys like the other sites but this one actually works, so far all I have got from it is the xbox 360 game shadow run (you have to fill in your name and address and email but thats all). You do not earn money but you earn points (150 points = £1 or $1) and you can spend those points on amazon. You can even play multiplayer games and earn points. The website is called points2shop (I will put a shortened url in sources box), and I give you my word that it is not a scam. When you join you get 250 points free. There are forums and a chat box - it gets hundreds of members every day. Complete a few offers ... read the forums and you will have no trouble earning plenty of points... I CHALLENGE YOU, Join for 1 day, complete a few offers and chat to people in the shoutbox. I am pretty sure you will get addicted like i have after only being a member for 2 weeks :) you can click switch to cashle in the corner of the website and do the offers for cash instead of points
- http://www.AWSurveys.com/HomeMain.cfm?RefID=snazdazzle This website is pretty good, once you earn a certain amount they'll send the cash to you and its easy too, I earned $28.25 already and I only joined yesterday!

- Effective and free, read below! One way you can earn money online is with Affiliate Marketing. It is usually far more efficient than PPC, reading emails, or filling long repetitive boring surveys (I have done this not too long ago :P). I created a squidoo lens the other day briefly explaining what affiliate marketing is and how it works. Not all of the programs on the internet are scams, but a lot of them are. However, usually these programs need to be paid for with rather a one-off payment or a recurring bill, which does make it really difficult to know whether the program is a scam, and whether the program is going to work for you. On a positive note, In my time i have come across an affiliate marketing training program that has great quality content and more conveniently is FREE! Even if you don't end up thinking that it is the program for you, although i doubt that because it really is a great program, you can always move on and forget about it because it was free. I talk about the program briefly on my lens, and I have a link to it on their too, so check it out: http://www.squidoo.com/recommended_onlin... Leave a comment on the lens, or send me and email because i would like to hear how you get on. Have a good one!
