Can I rent an apartment in North Carlina?

I'am moving to Thomasville,Nc (a small town 30mins past Greenboro, nc) in late Dec from Pittsburgh,Pa. I'am currently looking for a job in NC and hopefuly one comes through before my move, But if i don't find one before I move and have 4months of rent will I be able to rent apartment if I offer money in advice?

1. Probably not. Most landlords will not rent to someone with out a monthly income.
2. You may have to rent space in a motel or just a single room in a private home. Most landlords will not rent you an apartment without proof of income and them some what to see that you have been at that job several months
