How can i start a career training search and rescue dogs?

I am in college now and o would like to know what may help me get started in that career field and also where should i start? Also if you have any web links that may help i would appreciate it. Thanks!

1. Have you trained any dogs at all? That would be a good start. You need to master basic dog training before moving on to specialized stuff like that. Find a trainer in your area that does SAR, talk to them and see what would be involved and if they are willing to help train you.
2. That's not really a career you just get into to. You can learn to train dogs, then join a S&R club. You'll be spending money for a long time before you ever make any...if ever.
