I need help in career search an how i should start. remind you im only in high school?

I love helping people mostly children. I wanted to become a pediatrician since i was a little girl but that is not going to work i have searched an searched about the career since the 9th grade know i come to look at it i don't have a steel gut to become a pediatrician it takes up %79.5 of my life an i don't want that to happen. So what i have would like to learn more about is the UN,but their is steps to working for big head quarters and i would like to know what majors should i look into in college,what colleges i should i look for that have those type of majors and last what should i do Junior year to make my college application look realllly GOOOD? 1. not to be mean or anything, but if you weren't willing to put the time and commitment into becoming a pediatrician, then why were you so "passionate" about it? That's how you choose a job--something that you feel so passionate about that you would want to do and put any amount of time into it that it required. There's many jobs that involve helping children (daycare, teaching, etc.) Yes, in medicine, there's a lot of blood, sputum, feces, etc that is not pleasant but it's a part of it.
