How do I apply for section 8 housing in Houston, TX?

Hey I have been living with my parents and I have really been wanting to get my own place with a few friends. I was just recently layed off and am interested in applying for section 8 vouchers. Does anyone happen to know the phone number, physical address to apply, or online address. I have been searching but it's become a lost cause. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
