I really need low income housing information for Sacramento, CA?

So my son is disabled and I live with relatives. Needless to say it's not working out anymore and I really need info about low income housing in my area. My son gets just over 500 a month and i've been looking for a job for months with no results. I really need to get out of here and into my own place before I lose my mind. Any information would be greatly appriciated.

1. The wait list is already at 5 years, but you can try and apply with the housing authority. I am pretty sure they closed the list, but they can give you a date when they will reopen it. The Democratic Party is hiring out there. My nephew just got a job.
