Where in bellingham,WA is a nice safe apartment for a 20 yr old girl?

My daughter is going to move out and get an apartment for the first time,She is 20 yrs old.My question Where in Bellingham,WA would anyone recommend a good,safe nice apartment that kids her age live? One were it is fun yet safe yet classy..no druggies,crackheads exc...Any good review out there?

1. Since Bellingham is a college town, there are plenty of safe areas. Generally the complexes near WWU are full of college kids, so she would be able to have people her age around. I lived near Sehome High School when I went to school there, and would recommend any of those places. 2. Bellingham is a very safe area. I live very close to Bellingham. It's a college town, with the typical college town attitude. 20 year old everywhere riding bikes. I assume she's going to be a student at Western Washington University. Just find her an apartment close to the college. Crime can happen anywhere, but for the most part, Bellingham is a very nice town. I've responded to Craigslist adds all over Bellingham. I really haven't run across a slummy area, or a place I didn't feel comfortable. ~Garnet Permaculture homesteading/farming over 20 years
