Wanna live in New York, need help plz....?

So this is the thing I wanna move to new york city and am looking for a place to share in the queens area. would anyone have any sugesstions or know anyone who might be looking for a roommate. I am open to move like ASAP. I really dnt want to use Craigslist, if anyone can guide me toward where i should be looking at or know somone plz let me know thank you........

Despite the fact that there was one lone maniac on CraigsList a while ago, literally millions and millions of other people use it every day perfectly safely, and it's actually a perfectly fine way to connect with possible roommates, so, you really oughta give it another chance... 2. Drewkule, Do you by chance know what the name of the crazy person on craigs list? Email address or something. I was recently scammed on there and am trying to see if it is the same person. And now for the question, I actually do believe craigslist is a great place to look for a place to live, but you have to be willing to do some research and make sure everything is legit.
